Network Infrastructure and Services engineers have discovered an underlying issue concerning difficulties connecting to the eduroam SSID. The issue stems from eduroam’s authentication and authorization servers reaching their capacity. This can cause log in attempts to fail and is intensified by the increased volume of connection attempts during the first week of classes.
To address the situation, additional servers will be put into production prior to Monday, August 29th. Investigation into connection issues with iOS devices are ongoing.
